Personal Data Protection and GDPR Implementation

We have extensive experience in addressing personal data protection both under the former legal rules and the new GDPR, as well as the Act no. 18/2018 Coll., effective from 25 May 2018.

We are engaged in legal counselling for assessment of the lawfulness of the processing of personal data of our clients as well as advice on setting processes that are in line with the current legislation. 

We follow the guidelines of the Office for Personal Data Protection on continuous basis, in order to set up processes for our clients in a timely manner, adapted to the practices as applicable in the Slovak Republic. We have prepared legal opinions and analyses on the use of camera systems and GPS monitoring in relation to employee monitoring during working hours as well as other data subjects.

Our law office works closely with Top privacy s.r.o. that offers a broad range of expert advisory services in the field of personal data processing in private and public sectors, development of security documentation and data protection officer according to Art. 37 et seq. of the GDPR.
