Competition Law

We also represent clients in disputes arising from infringements of competition law. We have experience in assistance with laying claims from infringement of the European Union's competition law by a cartel agreement in motor vehicle sales and purchases and in disputes concerning refrainment from unfair competition.

We participated in commenting on the draft amendment to the Act on Medicinal Products, and in this regard, and a complaint to the European Commission for non-conformity of the draft legislation in Slovak law with the primary law of the European Union (in particular, a violation of the principle of free movement of goods and services in the European Union's internal market).

We provide our clients with legal advice on competition law, for example, in assessing vertical agreements between manufacturers and distributors of goods, we have supplied a legal opinion to a client regarding the prevention of cartel agreements between manufacturers and distributors of medical devices in the Slovak market.
